successful people network as a habit


Every single successful person you know has networking in their calendar.

Not just goal-oriented networking. They have intro calls. Coffee dates. Meeting people for the sake of meeting people. They might become more selective with who they meet, but I’ve talked to a former CTO of IBM for no reason except that I reached out… so you would be surprised who might be willing to talk to you.

This is not a chicken-and-egg thing. Successful people became successful because they networked, and they carry on the habit because it never stops working. The benefits compound and scale.

If you want to be successful, you should copy the habits of successful people - and networking is a universal habit of successful people.

You can start by reaching out to the most successful person you know on a first name basis and booking a chat. Feel free to use this template:
